Strategies for teaching children with ADHD

Children with ADHD are individuals and have learning needs as diverse as all other class members. So there is no single educational practice that can be applied universally.

There are three core areas of implementation within an effective teaching strategy:

• Conducting lessons (academic instruction)
• Behavioural interventions
• Classroom organisation
• Dialogue with parents a collaborative approach
